Dry Spells and Fountains….

HiResHiatus and breaks, call it what we may, I’m just not feeling the dating scene right now! :(

I’m not morphing into a Debbie Downer or the sort, but right about now, the options that are coming my way, are not really cutting it. As human as I possibly am, I’m  getting a bit tired of the dry, lame conversations that seems to point to the same old thing; and as engaging as I am (or try to be) I’m finding the whole process a bit mechanic nowadays.

Girl meets boy, girl does the sums (and it’s not the $); you know will he fit into my schedule or not, would I have to tune up the rough edges a bit, how long would it take? dah dee dah dee dah! By the time I get to the end of putting the sums together (in my head of course), the interest of pursuing the conversation any further dwindles right down to zero.

So what could possibly be going wrong here? I wonder if I’m being too calculating on potential outcomes, applying possibilities and probabilities OR  is it possible that guys are simply becoming very predictable and too vague nowadays? Maybe I need to stir up the pool of choices and relocate to another country perhaps? After all, it’s not as if the Trevi Fountain is going to move from Rome to where I am? I need to move towards my own ‘Trevi Fountain’, my oasis of possibilities but then where could my Trevi Fountain possibly be? hmmm….

Whilst I remain put however, I’m wondering if something genuine with a bit of rah rah would come my way soon? You know, nothing over the top, just a down to earth guy, living with purpose, with an interesting outlook on life.  I double guarantee you though, things will start to look a bit more interesting the moment I start packing up the trunks and luggages in search on my fountain.

In the meantime, I am a tardy bit amiss on how to handle this dry spell right now..

This is what I call Love

There is something about this couple that makes them really attractive. This is what I call true love. When I first watched this video on YouTube, it wasn’t part of my research on dating or love, it was just one of these random videos that has just gone viral and is very interesting to watch. However the underlying attraction  is that there is an unspoken chemistry between these two that makes them a good example of what true love is about! Would you agree? Do you see it too? You have to watch it to the end! I really like them!

I’m Sexy And I Know It!

I know we don’t feel like it all the time, but girl, Sexy is more fun and by our code, it means:

Smart : You know what your end goal is and you know how to get it, in your own wise way!

Enthusiastic about life, your life! You get over being disappointed about not having certain things in your  life right now and you focus on what is to come!

You have the X-Factor! That extra something that truly no other chic has got!! It’s that little thing that you know, and you know, gives you an edge over all others and you know that,

Right now, it’s all about You! As much as you want to have a laugh and just roll with things, you really do not have time to meddle around or follow pipe dreams! Some people call this being selfish! Well, I say, it’s better to focus on Number 1 than being drained by everyone else! You don’t want to wake up from your slumber at age 80 and realise that you’ve followed everyone else’s dream but yours!!

So as I’m walking down the street, I’ve done a  few simple things that  screams, ’I’m Bringing Sexy Back‘:

- I’ve done my ‘I Am’s’ for the day. You know, I’ve reminded myself in the morning what I’m looking forward to today. I’ve reminded myself that there is only ONE me in the whole world, which to me, is very special, up until the point that we all master cloning of course! I’ve reminded myself, that tough times don’t really last, tough people do!

- I wouldn’t flash this at you, but for me, as much as I am on point with my clothes, my underwear is super on point too!! It’s not for anyone, but for me!

- My clothes are to die for!. I may have run it through 2 or 3 seasons, but it still looks good!  It’s also all about the combination and coverage. I prefer to leave something to the imagination. It’s powerful that way!

- Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!  Comfortable and on point! Flats?, urgh!! Elevating the hips slightly do matter.

Just as I can’t stop the wind from blowing, I really can’t stop  guys from doing a double take when they see me walking down the street. It’s the consequence of being & feeling SEXY  :) and knowing it!
